State Licensure
Florida’s Commission for Independent Education (CIE)
Part of the Florida Department of Education (Florida DOE), the Commission for Independent Education has statutory responsibilities in matters relating to nonpublic, post-secondary, educational institutions. In keeping with the Florida DOE’s currently stated goal of producing a seamless educational system, some of these functions include consumer protection, program improvement, institutional policies and administration, data management, and the licensure of independent schools, colleges and universities.
Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education
Remington College is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education.
Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education
Remington College is licensed by the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education. This license must be renewed every two years and is based on an evaluation concerning quality of education, ethical and business practices, health and safety, and fiscal responsibility.

Remington College’s online programs are not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of Texas Education Code.
Tennessee Accrediting Information
Remington College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and is authorized for operation as a postsecondary educational institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. Credits earned at Remington College may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by Remington College. You should obtain confirmation that Remington College will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at Remington College to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at Remington College prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from Remington College to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at Remington College if you enroll in another educational institution. You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of Remington College and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at Remington College before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
