Online Course Delivery As a student enrolled in Remington College's online programs, you can pursue a degree in a way that allows you flexibility and a better balance between your studies and your daily life.
Online courses are delivered in the “asynchronous mode,” meaning that class members and/or the instructor may or may not be online at the same time, thus providing flexibility that can enable you to learn on your own schedule and at your own pace.
If you’re wondering whether online learning is right for you, Remington College offers an orientation session (at no charge) to help you decide. During this non-credit session, you can familiarize yourself with the online learning environment and the online resources available to you. The orientation includes the following sections:

User Platform Remington College uses Moodle as its online user platform. You’ll be given a password-protected, secure online personal account. You can log on anytime and anywhere you have access to a computer with the appropriate hardware and a connection to the Internet. Your program’s main page contains links to course lectures (which you can replay as often as you like), provides a course syllabus, assignment information and due dates, links on support services and computer requirements, a school calendar, and a student portal, where you can access policy/procedure information and tutorials.
Interactivity and Support As an online student, you’ll have opportunities to converse with your instructors and other students via a discussion forum and user community links. Remington College offers 24-hour support via a toll-free number.
Learning Resources As an online student, you can choose between ebooks(1) and paper-based textbooks.
Through the eBrary learning resource, you can create a personal bookshelf, add research sources and tools, and view them via the eBrary viewer.
Through the InfoTrac learning resource, you’ll have access to a database of more than 75 million articles from various publications. You can easily highlight, bookmark, and download these files whenever you need them.
Remington College is not currently authorized to enroll students from the following states: AL, AR, CO, CT, District of Columbia, IA, KS, MN, MT, TN, or VT. This list is likely to change, so if you live in one of these states, please check back frequently.
