Electronic & Computer Engineering Technology

(24 month Associate Program)

Electronics and Computer Engineering TechnologyThe Electronic and Computer Engineering Technology Program curriculum explores both the fundamentals and advanced theory in electronics, integrated circuits, microprocessors, and computer technology.

Laboratory experience is an integral part of the program. Students also receive a background in the fundamentals of digital computer and hands on experience with test equipment. Relevant courses of general education in the areas of humanities, social behavioral sciences, and mathematics are covered. This program is divided into eight 12-week learning units called quarters.

The objective of this program is to train graduates to qualify for entry-level positions such as:

  • Computer Service Technician
  • Electronic Laboratory Technician
  • Field Service Engineer
  • Installation Technician
  • Technician in Communications, Instrumentation, Digital, and Computer Electronics Fields
  • Sales Representative in the Computer, Electronics, Electronic Office Equipment, and Micro-processing fields
